- Take another bowl to whisk together flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt thoroughly. Gradually mix these dry ingredients into your butter-sugar blend on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped apples and walnuts ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter without overmixing.
- Pour this rich batter into your prepared baking pan; spread it out evenly across the surface before placing it in the oven.
- Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick in the center that comes out cleanly without any residue attached to it.
- Let your cake cool down in its pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it onto a wire rack where it’ll continue cooling completely.
